Discovery Kyler

Kyler loves to watch PBS in the mornings while mom showers, and there is always a commercial about Discovery Gateway that comes on that channel. One morning, Kyler came running in the bathroom, through open the curtain screaming something about Elmo. After I realised he was okay, we went out to see what all the excitement was about. He wanted to go to Discovery Gateway to see Elmo. So After a very long recovery of being sick we headed out to find Elmo!!! However, when we got there, we found out Elmo is on the second floor and there were so many "distractions" along the way. He loved playing with the balls and seeing where they would go.
He also loved the barn. This was a wild stallion that he tamed!!!

It's a good thing that we have been to Levan enough for "other one grandma and other one grandpa" to teach him to gather eggs. He knew exactly what to do.

Add I am sad to add that we never got to meet Elmo. However we saw his "world" and meet his fish Dorothy. And Kyler got to measure his feet with Elmo's prints. He was very excited the whole time and didn't seem to notice that he didn't see Elmo face to face.

Avia's Birthday

For Avia's birthday we went to Jumpingjacks in Springville. It was so much fun! Bryn and Avia had so much fun together and Kyler tried to keep up. But as soon as he found the basketball hoop he was fine to let them go without him. They all loved the slides, except when the big kids would push them. Avia kept telling them "NO, NO, No Pushing!!!!"

How Ironic

So in starting a blog, I have been looking at other blogs for ideas. I took the count down ticker from Kimbur. I thought this was a fun idea and very exciting! However I find it Ironic that Kimbur set hers up to countdown to the end of school, and mine is for the start of school. I guess it is all about where you are in life. I know my count down to be done will also be a big deal, but for now we have been waiting so long to start medical school that it seems like such a milestone and should definitly be counted down to. So for those of you who don't know, we will be leaving for Medical School on April 30th. We are going to the Caribbean for two years and then back in the states for the clinical rotations! We are very excited and I am a little overwhelmed with all the preperations. However, I know it will be worth it in the end!
