little boys

So I have heard a saying that goes:  Mothers of little boys work from sun up until sun down.  When I first heard this, I thought, " they can't be that much different than girls."  But let me tell you, THEY ARE!!!
If I am not watching Kyler all the time, he is getting into or doing something that he shouldn't, and we are past the point of discovering what is off limits.  He knows what he is not supposed to be doing, and what is okay.  He just chooses the things that are off limits.
This is what Kyler found to do while I was on the phone the other day.  Which by the way I am getting a cordless phone when we are home for christmas.  I have now decided they are an essential when you have kids.  So I was on the phone and it got really quiet.  I know- always a bad sign, but I didn't want to just get off the phone, but I couldn't move enough to see him.  When I got off the phone this is what I found!  Yep- I need more salt.  He emptied the entire can of salt, and it was FULL, on the table and then mixed in a whole bottle of water.  But that was not enough for him.  He had to see what it would do if he made balls out of it and threw them.  We found out it makes a mess, so if you are wondering don't try this at home!
They do things like this, and you still love them more that anything in the world.  However, Girls don't do things like this (at least mine doesn't) and you love them more than anything in the world.   Ironic don't you think?

20377I totally agree that boys are soo much different from girls. Whenever we go to the store Weston runs and falls down on purpose the whole time! I used to get so annoyed but then I just figured that he will be a boy, and I told people that if he fell in front of their cart they could run him over:) I miss you guys! Every time I read anything on your blog It just looks like you are on a long vacation:) HOw fun! Laura:)

My girl does :( All of my kids love the "off-limits". We'll see what Jennie gets into, but if she follows her siblings, well then the magic continues.
